21 Reasons For Minimalism Let’s define minimalism. From the root word minimal, which means smallest amount or very little quantity. Minimalism is living on this planet with only the things you need. For me it is very subjective. What is simple to me might not be simple to you so it really depends on how subtle or how extreme you want to be.
